Right I thought I would make a thread for us to talk about our random purchases and benching plans, as I sometimes find a new thread for something isn't worth it.

So first of all......

I picked up a brand new Rampage III extreme for the rip of price of £80!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Was delivered today

That's going in my main rig so I might do some PC mark and what have you, and see if it clocks better than my budget asus board with my 950.

It was indeed. The guy sold three RampageIII's for less than £100 and two Rampage black editions for less than £130. I had bids on the lot, but retracted them all once I realized they were selling so low. Only bought the Rampage because I bid on a whim and forgot about it

Considering they sell for £200+ that was a massive bargain!

Been out the game for awhile. Just bought a Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD5 from work and taken a decent clocking 2600K from the systems dept. >.<

Will have a play tomorrow night. Also have an EVGA GTX 285 SSC on my way this week for some 3DMark 01 SE.

Me too mate, I have tried to keep away from benching to save some money. I know money will be tight this next year or so as I have a lot of trips abroad my masters degree that I have to pay for, hopefully looking to pick up a shed load of kit before the end of september, want to end the summer with a bang

Been having a play with the new Aquamark GUI that HWBOT are making.

Looking quite good so far, much better than the original Aquamark set up.

Want to do some GPU benching, but would need to get a cpu and a mobo that will make the benches point worthy.

With bulldozer having the slight possibility of being a benchers wet dream (before 2011 comes) I might wait for that to bench some gpu's.

Change of plan! Taking the cost into play, I have decided to just stock up on cup's.

£10 for 775 chips seems the better option over buying a whole SB set up right now just to bench some more GPU's.

im after a hoodie but its not the right weather for it yet, im in 2 minds about it having bench team or marsey99@oc3d on the back, name on the back and logo with benchteam under on the front would be ace

Have you got any pictures of that bench table you bought in action? Curious as to how effective that clamp was, and wether I would be better off with one of them over a new pot mount.
