I've heard that you have to be careful when It comes to chosing a water pump as some of them can't handle the low temputures of the chilled water, is there any turth in this?

Hi there it will stop cooling when it gets to the set temp but i have removed the stat so it just keeps getting cooler, but as the weather is so warm at the mo i am not using it so will have to wait for it to get a bit coolder then the fun will start.
unless you can keep the temp about 10c-15c within the water temp then there will be condensation problems this is why i am not using it at the mo, it puts out about the same noise so it is not to bad, but it will only be used for benching anyway to keep the CPU and GPU cool, yes the cooler can be turned off and the water will just run though the cooler without it beeing cooled.

well guys had a little play with the cooler today, and it is still a bit to warm for it, it frozze up nice but only lasted about half an hour, i was able to run 3dMark 03 and got a few more points from it but just need anouther 200 points to take frog's no1 spot, i also ran 3dmark 01 and again got a few extra points but am having big problems in cracking this one am running the card at 480/1220 but can not crack 40000, so if anyone can help at all please post.

I'm currently on the lookout for a beer cooler for myself, i think i've found a nice two line cornealous one for 25 quid from a bloke off of ebay, i am going to build a custom case if the tests go ok, i will post results as i get them,
