For some reason I see this post being deleted and or getting me banned...especially since he is a moderator in these forums.
I really Like TTL vid reviews and OC3D FORUM. TTL is the reason I joined OC3D Forums but lately he has said something (twice) that really pisses me off and I am considering unsubscribing from both, even though I consider them both to be the best out there.
His remark/comment was "Americans as a whole prefer klunky (awkward/gaudy) over performance" which is entirely untrue and completely stereotyping.
Example...I would prefer KIT2000 (knightrider) over the Super pursuit Mode KIT2000. That show went to H#*% after that.
I believe people come to this wrong conclusion because of the overwhelming large amount of illegal Asians and Mexicans in the US that like bright funky colors on their cars that dont even go together, putting shag carpet in their cars and on their dash boards, stuffing overly large flashy wheels (rims) on their cars that raise the car 8 inches, hanging CD discs from mirrors, Mounting huge whaletails (airfoils) on trucks and little non performance 4 cylinder riceburners, putting mufflers on little import cars that make them sound like pissed off bumblebees, having knockoff expensive clothes, jewelry and cars while living in housing that should be condemned to put out a false image (represent), 10-20 adults living in a crackerbox (small/shabby house) so they can send money to their families in an impoverished country or have clothes and jewelry and drive cars that they cant afford...I could go on but I think you get the picture. I am not saying all or even a majority do this. It's just what people see and it sticks out in their mind and assume that we are all like this.
It would be like us Americans saying all UK/Brits need to make more trips to the dentist because we see shows that portray you as having jacked up teeth or even worse...saying that if it weren't for US entering two different wars to help UK you could very likely be speaking German or Russian. We would be making an untrue and assumed derogatory statement.
Before anyone goes off on me for this, I dont feel or believe that. I was only using that as an example.
Now I am neither racist nor prejudiced. My Grandfather Is Mexican my Grandmother is Choctaw Indian. My best friend in my youth was Black. I have had girlfriends that were black and mexican. I have many friends of different and mixed ethnicity.
