Bad Video

I just reformatted my hdd, put xp pro on and media player 10, and when i watch a movie clip or anything movie thing the picture is HORRIBLE, it was fine be4 i formatted and i was wondering if its my video card drivers have nething to do w/it, be4 i formatted i had 71.25drivers for nvidia and now i up'd to the 77.72, so is there a bug w/those drivers that is causin that??

i have a evga 6800gt video card.
