Sure is man. :)

First things first... Vista is the biggest load of **** ever in the history of the universe.

Second, for some reason the board cannot power my PCI-E wireless card, ill check that out again tomorrow though.

Third, canny run my OCZ and Ballistix RAM together, guessing ill have to change Ballistix settings first then put in OCZ but it doesnt really matter at the moment seen as I canny get the internet to work in Vista 64.

Any way some pics...

I am in exactly the same boat, so keeping an eye on this thread.

Set 1.45V in BIOS but CPUZ reads higher. My chip is power hungry. :(

Its a great board. So may different options in the BIOS.

780i boards are not very good at all. Exaclty the same as 680i boards but with the bridge chip. Get a X48 or 790i board.

Got this card today, and its very nice. :)

Here are some pics.

The front of the box.

Inside the box you see this.

Bundled stuff.

Drive discs, installation manual and Company Of Heroes: Opposing Fronts

TV cable, DVI to VGA adapters and power adapters.

SS100675a.jpg

The card is inside an antistatic bad which is wrapped in some bubble wrap.

SS100677a.jpg

SS100678a.jpg

The card itself has a plastic cover over the cooler.

SS100679a.jpg

which you need to take off

SS100680a.jpg

The card takes up two slots.

SS100685a.jpg

As you can see the card has two SLI connectors and requires two 6-pin PCI-E power cables to power the card.

Card compared to BFG 8800 GTS 512 OC.

As you can see the card is longer. The card is the same length as a 8800 Ultra. The card has a different fan to that on the BFG card but Ive found that at 50% and 100% the PNY card is a lot quiter.

Stock clocks and idle temp with fan at 50%.

'Cos I canny do 1280 x 1024 with DVI and i dont have a VGA cable with me it will have to be some high res (1920x1200) 3DMark 06 for the time being.

Card at stock - 12234

Card at 820/1200/2000 - 13833

That's a really nice card but... so big! Looks a lot nicer than the GX2 imo though. Pretty good temps for a stock fan as well :)

Some OpenGL benchmark results so far...
