AYD Shadow H20 Build

Hi Tom,

Just a quick observation/question really.

The Shadow H20 build looked to be a nightmare to bleed and from the other water cooling systems I've seen they all suffer from a similar problem, that being that the point of fluid introduction is lower than the highest point in the system , which is where the air will naturally collect (in the case of the shadow it created the airlock you suffered to start with). The bleed screws on the radiator you used are great but as you stated could get messy if you actually allowed the fluid to seep, as you would in a conventional heating/cooling system (Car/House)

So what I'm wondering is would it have been possible given the number of feeds on the rad used to have had the fill/purge lines connected as well as the cooling loop lines?

Are there other rads that have these 4 ports?

Obviously base mounted rads don't create an issue as your res will likely be the highest point.

I'm also wondering the orientation of your cpu cooler you could end up with a nice little air pocket sitting above the return. I've noticed most of your builds seem to utilise the 9 - 3 orientation. Is there anything to stop you using a 12 - 6 orientation?

Cheers

Lee
