I've recently (a week ago) purchased an AX850 for my new build. However, I whenever I turn the computer, it starts to spin and then it stops suddenly and it makes a really bad like grinding. It also doesn't spin when I use my computer. I know that it doesn't spin up if it's lower than like 10% load, but i'm loading my graphics card with Crysis 2 in DX11 Ultra Settings and with 3D activated. Afterburner is registering 85-90% load most of the time, but the fan still doesn't spin up. But after about 15 minutes of playing, it shuts down. It tries restarting but it won't unless you physically intervene, turn it off and then turn it on again and it'll load. It's the PSU fan that's not spinning up by the way.
I've also had the same problem when just using the desktop.
So is this just like burn-in time or is it a faulty power supply?
Specs:
Core i7 2600K (stock, haven't had time to overclock)
Z68A-UD3H-B3
G.Skill Ripjaws 8GB 2133 MHz RAM
Gainward GTX580 Phantom
Noctua NH-D14
NZXT Phantom
AX850
Corsair Force 3 120GB SSD connected to SATA III
1TB Seagate Barracuda SATA2
SATA DVDRW Drive
Windows 7 Ultimate
Samsung 27" 3D Monitor.
Thanks in Andvance
