Out of curiosity I installed ati tool to test for artifacts.

I got artifacts in ati tool but none in 3dm06, rthdribl or in games.

So to be ati tool stable i had to drop to 700/1600/925.

Well that has kinda peed me off, do we trust ati tool? When i exit it has a spaz and tries to send an error report, so i question how reliable it is.

I'll go back to my previously trusted method of testing.

I read a post by JonnyGuru stating having your mem clocked at 2000 for more than a few weeks causes irrepairable damage... 1900/1950 is fine. The mem controller on the 88GT can't handle the speeds...

EVGA have a model out @ 2000 mem, maybe lots of rma? jonny is supposed to be in the know...

what was the version of ati tool you tried?
