£340 in US, we'll of course get ripped off though.

well, it's £411 phil so no excuses :P

Still, I'm sure your gpu is fine - wait to see what g71 brings to the table and then choose. :)

atm it's just like 7800 versus x800 for x1900 vs 7800.

got my x1900xt today not going to bad :) 11.5k in 05 and just under 6k in 06 lots of tweaking yet to be done and not a lot of driver support (6.1's dont work)

have ati even publicly announced these cards yet? i know theyre for sale...but i dont remember an ati launch... :D

hopefully next month with some new drivers will see some decent performance boosts, but i cant complain for a single card

agreed. I think nvidia still win for dual cards narrowly right though?

I wouldn't mind seeing a comparison between a 6800ultra and a x1900xt though.

Hardly a fair comparison my friend - why would you want that, other than to see the increase in performance between the two if you wanted to upgrade.

No point in seeing it if that is the case - it's a no-brainer...... just get one lol :D

The 6800 would get poohed upon! I've got one in at the moment - you're looking at 14,000+ (450/1200) in 3Dm03, Where as the x1900 is getting close to that (with drivers to come) in 3Dm05! :)

I think I'm going to hold out for the G71 to arrive :B
