ATi/AMD Catalyst 11.1 WHQL Just Released!

It's just been released. Go check it out.

The CCC is 10.12, and Tessellation options are only available in the 11.1a's as well as MLAA is only available in 11.1a's.

2D and 3D drivers are newer in 11.1a, I'd just grab the 11.1a hotfix to be honest.

But if you want to stick to WHQL, go download it now.

At least this one works, 10.12 was bad, very bad. Even turning the Mem or GPU clock up by 1 caused screen flickering and eventually lead to my card crashing, I switched back to 10.10 (10.11 isn't for 6 series cards) and everything worked great. Now using 11.1a and everything is working fine so far and it looks like they got it right this time

I found 10.12 fine.

But I don't OC my GPUs.

Sometimes i doesn't load (well, once) but has anyone used the new cpu underclocking utility in the power management? if it's quick n easy i'll probably make use of it but if it's as bad as any other software for over/ underclocking then i'll leave it alone

No, I haven't.

I'm currently getting peed-off with the 50x50 pixel box in the top right-hand corner of the screen with 10.12 WHQL, 11.1 WHQL, 11.1a. They all have the issue. I hope it'll be fixed in 11.2

Has anyone here had a similar issue to this: Since updating from the10.11s when they brung in the CCC2 every time i load a full screen app it takes AGES, if i have sound playing it skips and loops as if the PC has crashed, but given about 1min to just sit and do it's crazy thing it comes through and works fine. Only an issue i've had in the last 3 versions, very very annoying! I even tried a fresh install to cure it but still no luck.

Taking a while to load yes, sound problems no.

I had that problem with the old CCC as well though, sometimes it loads strait away no probs but other times it takes up to 30sec to load and then a few more secs before I can change any settings.

My PC shut down when the screen went into standby. I have now updated to 11.2 and everything seems fine..

updated to 11.2 3 days ago(one of those round to it moments lol) and it's soooo much better not really fooled around with ccc2 but the full screen problem is gone it doesn't like steam though
