Has anyone paired these two monsters together? If so, how did you connect them together even with the included headset? Any pics?

Tbh even with a mid range soundcard there wouldn't be a difference between that and the Xonar Xense, I've come across distortion or poor quality in one or two tracks only with a Creative X-Fi 5.1 USB sound card, and that's probably because the audio file wasn't of a high enough quality.

Actually the Xense is pretty neat. It has the 7.1 audio splitter that allows you to connect your speakers separately to it. Usually headphone and front speakers are the same port. But for the Xense, you shouldn't plug it into the headphone jack as it may overpower the 3.5mm line due to it being a dedicated headphone amp. Please correct me if I'm wrong guys.

So, the outcome is that you can have your speakers connected via the splitter cable that it comes with and it plugs into the large connection at the back, which looks like a 15 pin, HD15 maybe? The headphone and microphone will be plugged into the 1st two ports for microphone and headphone lines respectively. Please forgive me if I've confused you.

You can take a look at the manual that's available on Asus. You'll find it under the manuals section; it's the last file out of the 3.
