Asus Sabertooth z77 Motherboard problem

Hey everyone, i just finished building my gaming pc and stupidly didn't remember to test all the parts outside of the case before i fitted them, so i plugged it in and pressed the on switch on my case and nothing happened at all :( . There are no fans, lights or noises, just nothingness  . The only sign that the motherboard is actually getting any power to it at all is that there is a green led that's lit up at the bottom of the motherboard labled SB_PWR  . I have both the 24-pin and 10-pin molex plugs installed as well as all my other components which are:-

Asus Sabertooth z77 MoBo (funnily enough)
Intel Core i7 3770k processor
2x4GB Corsair Vengeance Ram @ 1600Mhz
Corsair TX750 750w psu
2TB barracuda green hdd

Would really appreciate any help given :)

are you sure it is the motherboard, id first be sure its the motherboard before flashing it. first try without a gpu, then take out one ram stick, then try with the only the other ran stick in, this will help you be sure its the motherboard. if you can try putting in parts from other builds which you know works if you have anything lying around. if that is no use its either the cpu or motherboard

Thanks for the advice, but i tried the ram thing and i don't currently have a gpu, but it still won't boot, although i did notice that the light in the bios flashback works, but the memok! button doesn't seem to do anything.

I get the impression that the ram slots may be faulty seeing as the memok! indicator led seems to be defective, and im afraid i have no other compatible sticks of ram :(
