Hi All,

I'm looking to buy the above mobo, just a couple of simple questions you guys might be able to help me with:

Does the NH-D14 fit with this board?

Should I still keep my 16GB LP vengeance RAM or go with something different?

Is it possible to run a sound card in a 16x PCIe slot?

Thanks

Can I ask why that board specifically? If you're sticking to air, you wont see that much benefit over even a Gigabyte UD3 for 1/3 of the price.

The question is what case do you have, and will it fit in your case

The cooler works with almost every motherboard, what you have to be careful with is the size of your case and height of your ram.. that motherboard btw is all brand, there are other great boards that overclock and/or perform just as good maybe better

OK I'm using this board for the dual GPU setup (spacing) which I have researched and been advised this board will configure how I want it.

I will be fitting it into a NZXT switch 810

You will be grand broseph. I must say and im not biased at all but the rive is a fantastic piece of kit and if i had the choice between it and anything else id have the rive which is why i got it. Also get a 3930k dont bother with the 4 core lol

The spacing for all the ASUS boards are 3 slots which will be fine for 2 cards, and even 3 if you wanted to in the future.

The D14 will fit, and the RAM will work fine if you insist on that board. But i think you'd be better off saving the money, getting like a sabretooth or the P8Z77 Deluxe then spending the extra £150 or however much it is on something more beneficial, such as better watercooling in the future.
