ASUS P8Z68 V Pro with USB issue

Hi guys,
recently, my MOBO cant recognise (kind of) my CM Trigger Keyboard and Roccat Kova mouse whenever i start my pc.
at first, i was thought that is the KB and mouse problem. I tried to connect to my laptop. mouse was working fine, KB on and off working.
then, i tried to return to seller to checked it and turned out working fine over their place.
so, i just wander to asus website and found out that they have latest BIOS update 3402 which improve some USB devices. should i update my BIOS?Or just RMA the MOBO? as i heard so scary stories of updating the BIOS.
maybe u guys have any ideas to help me to fix the issue...

I recommend always having the latest BIOS version installed. I personally think it's worth taking that risk. I've never had any issues with updating the BIOS on my own motherboard. Since my board supports it, I use the Gigabyte @Bios feature, which makes the job somewhat easier.

If you make sure to download the correct BIOS files and know how to flash a drive it's not that hard to do. But as you've read and as people state: Should the system crash or if something unexpected happens during the install, you could ruin your current BIOS.

Of course, there are things you could do if that should happen.

Always update the BIOS.

As for the K&M, what ports are they connected to? USB 2 or 3?
Try putting them into USB 2 if they aren't.
My Corsair keyboard and mouse won't behave properly while on USB3 for some reason. Also - are your drivers installed properly for USB3 ports?

james, as for the port.. initially i plugged them to usb2. then i changed mouse to usb3 as KB always give me the problem. now mouse and KB is having problem, alternating... this make me sick...
as for the driver, Kova dont have driver... and Trigger only have app or the macro program...

another question: should i update my bios version by version until the latest? or just update straight to the latest one?

hey guys,
yesterday, i just finnished update my BIOS...
honestly, it is quite easy to update BIOS especially with the EZ flash...
now, my KB and mouse are working fine...just need to monitoring them a while...
BTW, i also update my GPU BIOS... didn't notice and performance gain... and feel like a little instable... weird...
anyway, thanks guys...

guys, my mobo and keyboard are not communicate each other almost everytime i turn on my pc, again. i tried to return to the shop where i bought it. when they test it, everything's fine. then, i tried on my pc. same problem appear.
anyone from this forum encounter this problem with CM Trigger Keyboard?

try going into your BIOS and disabling your bluetooth. and retest.

Just to check. I have a similar board at work, and it really doesn't like to run the keyboard unless it is in the designated "keyboard" usb slot... Just a thought... It should be outlined in white around the port... hope you get this resolved soon.
