Asus Maximus IX Extreme

This appears to be one hell of a motherboard but such little info out at the minute....

One thing is for sure, it's expensive!!! OCuk are taking pre-orders at £599!!!

What are people's thoughts on the little we know about it.... gimmicky or worth it...

well if your watercooling then its one hell of a board, i know the price might seem steep, but toggle up how much a good mb and a monoblock costs. Then when you have the price of that monoblock try and find one with leak detection etc.

Im just hoping they bring an am4 one out.

This is why I'm interested in it, for Watercooling it seems the perfect piece of kit. Just wish Asus could release more information

I know its the extreme but apart from a few things like extra pump header and x2 banks of 4 fan headers it not much different than the rog maximus formula xi but I could be wrong ,and I hope I am

When you compare it to how packed with features the x99 rampage v is
