Would have been perfect had they included a full length backplate that stood off the PCB slightly.

It's why I said Stood off slightly, give it a 3 - 5mm gap should be plenty to feed the air it needs to the impeller.

Very nice but a white metallic backplate with a cutout over the blower fan would have really made this card shine IMO.

Dual side air intake sure does sound like an interesting idea and thermals prove it works but why do they have to make the cards out of that shiny white plastic. It looks so cheap like it would break as soon as you touch it. Well maybe it's the light reflection or maybe it's because I don't like anything white when it comes to PCs.

The card could have 'perforated' end so it would suck air in directly from the front of the case (something similar to the AMD design)
