Hey guys i got my new asus dcu II oc gtx 780 for three days now and i did some benchmarks but i am pretty disapointed by the scores :/
My results are below

STOCK CLOCK

P SCORE:30619 Graphics score 38967 Cpu score 18640

OCED @ 1075 base clock

P SCORE:32423 Graphics score 43379 Cpu score 18447

those scores are pretty low compared even to stock nvidia gtx 780 that Tom has on his graphs.

I used the trial version of 3d mark vantage and so i could only run the P test.
Are these scores low because the rest of my gear is low budget?

38 - 40k p scores of the graphics isn't too bad really, your overall score will be brought down because of your cpu score. when these guys test with vantage, they usually use a 3960X or some other 6 core/high end cpu. but their graphics scores are about the same

Its probably the cpu etc. If thats what the scores are thats what they are.

Thats why we benchmark, a rig is tested as a whole not just the gpu or cpu

CPU and RAM make a massive difference on Vantage.

If you use something like Heaven 4 to test and compare with, it will put almost all the workload on the graphics card.

just remember, vantage for the most part tests the entire system, not just the video card.

Unfortunately it is years out of date as well.

With modern GPUs it can bottleneck them horribly. If you are using multi GPU setups Vantage is totally useless.

If you want to test the whole system you can use Firestrike (Extreme preset) to do it.

I use vantage to also check if my overclocks are stable.
So far i have 1100 mhz base clock stable oc :-D

Same here, i have had my Asus GTX 780 DCII for a couple of weeks now, the framerate differs. With BF4 it can be around 90fps, but some rounds its around 60fps, which to me is stupidly low for a card like this. It annoys me because I expected this card to be owning every game I would throw at it. I know that BF4 isnt really stable, when I overclock to around 1200mhz I get an Directx error, alot of people have that problem so luckily im not the only one. AC4 on max settings with Physx off, is around 45fps, thats due to the game I heard but still im a little bit dissapointed by the performance of this card.
