How about the MSI Z77A-GD65. It seems to be a popular choice and it looks fantastic imo.

The above mentioned card is a pretty good one, IMO. If I had to choose between ASRock or Gigabyte, I'd pick Gigabyte any day.

Will have to say Gigabyte, better quality, better buy better investment. Asrock is an offspring of Asus so they shouldnt be all bad. Asrock does claim to have a slightly better X79 OCin mobo but Gigabyte has the best Z77 mobo and its has some suprising records to back it up.

Well I just read a long time ago they were the same company. Also the fact the ASRock fatal1ty board looks nearly the same as the ASUS ROG boards in many ways lead me to believe they were still both manufactured by the ASUSTek giant. After further reading [font="arial, helvetica, sans-serif"]I discovered that Pegatron Corp. own ASRock have have done for a long time now. Thanks for pointing out my mistake and apologies, I in no way wished to misinform anyone. I have since had issues with my new Z77 ASUS board :/[/font]

Keen to get an eye on the ASRock z77 Extreme 9 tho. Not much about.
