Arkane has "doubled its thoroughness" for Prey's PC release

Nothing from nothing leaves nothing :D

But leaving nothing and then trying something to do nothing is something, so isn't a double nothing actually something? Or is a double nothing actually really just nothing even though something is something and not actually nothing?:D
(I will feel bad if Chrazey reads this lol)

Raphael was quick to remind GameSpot that Prey is being made by Arkane Austin and not Arkane Lyon (the developers of Dishonored 2) and that Prey is based on CryEngine and not Dishonored 2's Void Engine (Modified IdTech 5).
A lot of Dishonored 2's problems on PC stemmed from the fact that the game was based on the companies custom Void Engine, with the use of CryEngine giving Prey's development a better baseline on which to build this new title.
Lmao if they can't make idtech5 run well on PC how are they supposed to produce anything worthwhile on CryEngine, arguably the worst engine you can make a game on right now, especially in the FPS genre.

Well...

Glad to see you around:)
Although if that guy is on chemo, I'd argue he has more pressing concerns than a FOV slider..

Cheers dude :)

And you're right, It's definitely not the end of the world, but it's still such a basic feature. It seems weird not to include it in a modern triple-A title. I do hope they'll include it in a future patch because performance actually seems pretty decent according to reviewers on Twitter.

So much for Arkane doubling their efforts on PC, Nothing but hot air once again from subpar devs.

This doesn't make them subpar. They are probably referring too performance. Fov slider is not part of that. Besides it's not a big deal anyways. I always slide mine up to max. Most people I assume do. They could just have that as standard.

I bought it on impulse for less than $50CDN from a CD keys web site (the one linked in Joker Productions video). Haven't played it enough to be impressed or unimpressed though, since I also bought CIV 6 at the same time, which I spent a decent chunk of the weekend on. :)
