For a budget rig it's very well done, not too keen on the colour though :P

Nice rig, although an odd spec list for a budget rig. Mainly the CPU cooler which isn't really necessary for an i3 and I think that money might have been better spent on a slightly better GPU or a small SSD.

I'm curious to see what those future updates will look like :)

It's not bad (not good either), just looks to me like someone took a leprechaun and force-fed it black berries and had it vomit in your case. The colors are sickening as they are.

Of course, if you're color-blind then ignore. :)

GOOD and BAD Update****

ok guys so i thought time for an update, so the story begins.......

my arc r2 rig was running like a dream i must admit not the fps i wanted but it was a good start, i have a family friend who i have been building and servicing computers for for a long time we have him and his wife over for dinner a lot as they are both in poor health and we like to make sure they eat well, anyway he comes round and says i love you pc it looks great can you build me one like that it fantastic, so said well i spent this amount of money on it and that was a bit more than what he could afford.

anyway over the next few days he was texting me saying i really love ya pc and would i swap for his?? , so i thought an amd fx4100 standard pc with no gpu eerrrmm, but being the bloke i am i said ok, with him being very ill and really made his day, so now im thinking ok gotta save up and which way should i go now..BUT at least i have a pc so anyway i dropped it round to him got it all setup and he was over the moon.

when i got home i turned his pc on, and the silly old git lol, had somehow got a few screws inside the case, well......POP... blew the board, psu and didnt even chance the cpu after that, so feeling very gutted and p**sed off i thought should i ring him and explain what had happened and ask for some money or my rig.....?

Anyway i decided to not tell him as seeing him so happy was nice i now face the problem of no rig, no money?

so i managed to sell a few old parts i had laying around and get the following...

i5 4570
palit gtx660 oc
use his hdd's from his old computer
be quiet psu so now im stuck with no board and no case and no rig...

anyway i thought i would update you guys so far as to my rig lifespan LOL

and gonna need a lot of saving to get up and running again

so any suggestions on boards or cases is much appreciated....

also thought id add that im typing this from an xp laptop thats older than me ha ha.

:):confused::rolleyes::lol::lol:

Thats very kind of you to do that trade. Top lad. :)

i know i mean anybody else and i would have said your having a laugh, but i think to see some one that happy meant alot just a bark i haven't got a running rig to play me games etc lol:lol:

You're a better man than me, I couldn't of given that rig away.

Thanks means alot fella's i would be lying if i said i wasn't gutted lol, its even more gutting having most of the hardware here but not being able to use it, dont think ill be able to afford a case anytime soon let alone some ram, lol but the price you pay for being a good samaritan ha ha, might go in the shed and try to make a test bench of sorts.. 1 STEP CLOSER !!! ha ha:lol::lol::lol:
