I've not been bothered with the whole acrylic look in years, having thought I'd moved on to loving the look of sleek metal tops, but I'll admit that I've been wrestling with the idea of ordering some of these Aquacomputer ones for the past week, even though I already have a set of Watercool Ni-Bl blocks ordered. These are kind of supersexy.
I'm interested to see what comes of their planned active cooled backplate for the rear memory chips too.

I've not fitted a full-face gpu block since my X1900's. I feel like moving to gpu block only now, but I was tempted by Watercool's latest Ni-Bi Heatkillers. If I had a Titan though I would definetly go for a full cover waterblock.

Yeah, yeah I know. Most cases that don't cost an arm, a leg and half a newborn child (I've never understood that metaphor, a newborn child is not something expensive, society has invested practically nothing in them yet. A 40 year old expert in his given profession is a lot more valuable. Hold on, I seem to have lost my train of thought... ah, here it is *choo choo*) don't offer this sadly. But surely if you can afford a Titan and a corresponding water loop you could spring for something like that (and there's always modding :lol: ).
and any/all script is upside-down. so those using a reversed motherboard
layout it will show, but all the fancy-dancy script is illegible (unless dyslexic - like me).
shame all the thinking is bass-akwards.. tisck

But heat transfer is where the Aquacomputer Waterblocks shine.
Hmm... the Aquacomputer block is cheaper but nickel plated.
EVGA Hydro Copper Titan is equipped with a Swiftech Waterblock and again the Swiftech block looks so damn good.

Yeah that is indeed slightly retarded. But it can be painted over or sanded out :lol:
I still have two original Cuplex (copper cold plate with plexi top cover) and even after years they still look pretty good. Not mint, of course, but there's only very slight milkiness where the plexi was above the water channel. But I suppose it depends on what coolant you use; I've only ever used clear ones.
Besides, you can still get the block in a non-plexi version with a steel cover.
I've always thought that too. But as soon as you have multiple cards, convection will only ever (and even then just weakly) work for the top card. Any card will pretty much kill convection for the card below it I would think, especially when you have them close together.

I like the EVGA and XSPC (razor) ones the best. To each his/her own though
They look a bit plain and the swiftech one is just a big lump of plastic

Blasphemy! It's a big rectangle slab of plastic with a sticker on it! It's like the tesco's value of waterblocks imo
