and ill have my sandy bridge hackintosh/W7 machine![]()
thanks,
apples quality is actually outstanding, im not saying other companies arnt, but what other company offers you an i3 rig with 4gig of ram, and a 27" moniter with 2560x1600 with LED backlighting, a decent set of inbuilt speakers, and a good keyboard and mouse for less than £1500
You can't say that's good value considering you can have the same spec + screen + better speakers + better conectivity + mac OS-X for less than a grand.
Good review though, even though it seems you're quite biased and obviously make out your product to be very good with fantastic value even though that's not the case. Fair play though, everybody who's dug £1500 out of their pockets for a Mac would say that.
fine, spec me up an i3 pc, with 4 gig of ddr3-1333 ram, a 1tb hitachi HDD, and a ati radeon 5670, in a aluminium case, with power supply, with a 27" 2560x1600 monitor, with a glass front, and IPS, and a keyboard and wireless mouse, with mac osx for less than 1500![]()

As you can ssee I've improved on some of the things you said were poor with the Mac and even added a top of the line newer gen mobo + CPU, You could even squeeze a proper chipset such as X58 within that budget tbh. If you remove some of the goodies such as that board, Noctua, Blu ray drive, cheaper ram like the Macs, the overclocked edition 5670 and get something actually decent like a 460 it's quite easy to get it under £1400 with that beautiful Dell Ultrasharp. Also if you remove the bad-ass mobo you can easily squeeze a wireless keyboard + mouse in there. Of course, you'd have to build it by yourself but if you're not into that Aria can easily arrange something, maybe even a bundle.
fair point, and nice list, but that couldnt be used at all without an OS ....thus increasing the price
and no wireless keyboard and mouse, of good quality may i add, included for the price either.
so basically, what we established here is, you can only just get a comparable PC spec for the price, you cannot EASIELY improve on the spec, and thus, its good value for money.
id rather a good 1080p screen and a beefier cpu/gpu, i mean what market is this computer aimed at?
no, its aimed at people who want a computer that is more style over substance
So you're a show-off or otherwise known as an attention seeker? I wouldn't have thought, mate. You look like a decent person - get a decent PC and start folding for team Redline@OC3D![]()
