Apology to those affected by the post i made in the competion thread

A heated argument regarding F@H in the Competition thread.

I joined team 98860 last night and had no knowledge of the goings on. My experience with the F@H team has been great. It is a shame to hear how some people can be so immature and cause all of this commotion. I believe in freedom of speech but those that like to exercise that freedom should use good judgment when they speak (or type is this case). I would like to say thank you to the OC3D Admin for taking control of the situation. Also, it is very good of you, SparkleDJackson, to step up and extend your apology to everyone. Let’s hope the others involved are big enough to follow suit.

I only joined the forums yesterday. I didn't expect this to be honest.
I apologise for the less than amazing first impressions. We're a good bunch of misfits really.

When I became part of the forum here is was to ask for some help with an issue I had. Everything I knew about folding I had taught myself so as soon as my problem has been demystified, there turned out to be no knowen cure, I began to help people.
I try to stop by here every day, ask anyone, I seem to like the sound of my own voice on here, and offer any help or keep up the banter. The group of folders her are a really, really great bunch and I wouldn't want to fold with anyone else.
I havn't really been around the past couple of days so I missed this commotion.. and what's this about a competition???? I do want to say though, enyone that may be new here, please don't be put off by what ever has gone down. Even if you don't fold.
On which note, I do want to say, everyone that can fold, it would be good if you could. But believe me I'd be the last person to judge if you did not... and if you want to fold but can't, don't feel guilty, you are still welcome to join in on the folding board.

If one good thing came of it, it was that it sparked the curiosity of a few new members who have since started folding

First let me say that i can't believe i didn't see this thread yet... silly me, i'm dealing with a lot of school work, i hate exam time.
now on topic:
Oopps, I have to apologize about it 'escalating' because the truth is i am the one that replied to that post, and i may have been just a little harsh, so i'm sorry about that. But allow me to quickly explain my side of the story. I joined THIS F@H team because they taught me why people fold and i've heard some peoples stories, and so over the last ~year or so i became a 24/7 folder for everyones cause. And when i saw that THIS forum was doing such a nice comp/giveaway and then people were calling F@H (which a lot of members are part of) a scam, it felt .... well like he was saying something bad about a close friend, and i got too defensive.
What's done is done, i'm sorry for what i said. But i do still stand by the fact that i do NOT believe that F@H is a scam.
i was probably one of the first to get removed, and even though i would like a chance, you already picked the winners. So this is not about getting back into the comp, but just to let you know, i'm sorry for what i /we started. I have learned recently that on the internet its not beneficial for the 'good guys' to post their opinions because it always back-fires.
So i'll just keep folding, and be careful on what and where i post things ... aka F@H should say in its section
and well when it comes to the next comp, if its all based on luck better just not post anything, doesn't change ur chances, so why bother when ur opinion can be frowned upon
p.s - in the comp thread there are a few posts that ask people, what would YOU do if you won the rig? .... never mind , i've tried to explain my opinion before, i'm horrible at putting my thoughts into writing so i'm gonna stop trying. Good luck to the winners, hope you enjoys the rigs, hope they are or more importantly become active members of OC3D. if they just take the prize and leave this community, i won't lie, i'd be just a little pissed...

Been on hols for a bit, come back and find that there is loads happening in the competition thread ( I only check now and again as it often goes off topic) and that aliens are using F@H to send messages home scrounging for lifts!! OMG so what that really means is that our top folders are aliens - which explains their out of this world scores
