Anyone used Gigabyte tech support?

I opened a ticket or 'question' with their system on November 6th 2009 and have yet to receive any useful response almost 2 months later.

I re-submitted after 2 weeks in case the first was lost for some reason, but still nothing. All I've had back is one response that they've been busy and another that my query was passed on to the relevant department. This was still weeks ago though, any idea what's going on?

I'd ideally like an email address for someone who might actually be able to help me.

Now the actual problem is relating to the HDMI connection on my motherboard (MA78GM-S2H rev1.1). It plain doesn't work with my TV and is a known problem, but there are threads on the net where people have got a test BIOS from GB that has fixed it. Can't get my hands on it though. I want to avoid paying a load for a phone call or having to disassemble my entire HTPC to RMA the board if possible. I can still use the machine via VGA, but no HDCP and so no blu-ray playback (or 1080p res for that matter).

It'd just be nice to be in contact with someone who knows what they're talking about. I always though GB support was good, but it seems now I need it I'm very disappointed.

i think i may have used them a while back for a mobo havin faulty capicitors or somethin, i do believe it was a standard rate call so didnt cost much at all, if that helps:S how ever i may be wrong:)

Used them (uk people) once for a mobo accessory need. Got a quick email response and within days they shipped me a part using the envelope etc I sent.

Seemed decent enough. Always good to check forums for issues tho.

iirc, the email I sent them was part of the support->contact thing on the site.

Actually it definitely was, cos I can remember selecting model numbers from pulldown menus.
