Anyone still using a GTX470?

Got my hands on a cheap 470 and found a cheap waterblock as well,and all I can say is that this thing is a bloody lunatic.Have been running some Heaven Benchmarks:

Only have a 1680x1050:

I wonder how much further this will go?there again,almost 300 on the core is not too shabby so far!!(have had to mod the bios for the extra volts as you can see on the afterburner screenie,that seems to be the max without a hard mod to to board.)

Flash to ASUS bios and use Asus Smart doctor. Or you could run Asus smart doctor and maybe you will be lucky enough for it to work.

Yea I am not a big fan of smart doc either. But what it does have over the others is MASSIVE overclocking. When I had my hd5870 (ASUS) I was able to bump the volts to 2v and my core to 1.5ghz. Not that my GPU would do it, but smart doc would of let me which is my point.

But,I am not short of volts(yet)it is the core that can not keep up(so far)

U can change some settings in afterburner to unlock it to UNOFFICIAL OVERCLOCKING MODE. Ive only ever used it on AMD cards though, it can make things go nuts though i warn u. I dont recommend it but the option is there. http://forums.overclockersclub.com/index.php?showtopic=182403

That only works with AMD cards.Have found that NVinspector can go waaay past the limits of afterburner,so I am using that now!

Had a look on HWbot and I think this is the highest graphics score for a single watercooled 470(vantage)
