Anyone seen these?? They look awsome!!

LOL...these have been brought up before. The single-head one is about the same price as a Mach2GT. I really dont trust the units ability to handle 3 heat sources. :)

I like the case tho :)

I have to admit I'm a little sceptical about the 3 sources at -30ish each aswell. Didn't realise they had been brought up before, oh well. Here they are again lol.

Funnily enough in the dfi expert review thread the guy selling it (on ebay) also sells these units - also a chiller from them.

I owuld not purchase one of these until I had a seen a review from a reliable source such as:

EPUK

Hexus

Tomshardware

Anandtech

CustomPC

TechPowerup

XS

XR

Or any other well known reviewee.

Cheers

Yeah these have been about for a while but no one has actualy go thold of one??

Also from a phase point of veiw I doubt that they can supply -30 per head under load maybe idle but under load the cards would have a lower temps the cpu would have the higher temp as it does get hotter

P.S if anyone is realy interested in a triple head unit give me a pm but I am sure the price will be huge as the heads will be £300 alone

Can you actually use the dual sli unit in a case? It appears you can't from those pictures?

I don't think I'd every buy one - rather pay the extra for a mach.

That guy in Italy seems to be doing okay - but why is he auctioning off a units rather than using Buy It Now to make sure he makes his margin? (RMA perhaps, or still faulty??)

Until I see one reviewed and supported in the UK - its a no-no.

Dont need to look around for phase change in the UK tbh, we have phil right here, and we can all vouch for the quality of his stuff i think.

Im highly wary until units reach these shores and are reviewed, and even then would be a bit worried in case the company went under = no warranty, no updates etc.

I think they must be pretty good performers tough as they run on 507 gas. What compressor does it use? ie, is it more effective than the mach gt one?

Just for your information in around 5 months time there may indeed be another player on the market. Keep everything crossed!

Are we allowed to talk about it if we know? I read it from an employee...some ppl are so bad at keeping secrets :)

They use a 1/3 hp compressor like the mach thats why I dont think they will do what it says on the box my duel headed r507 units will idle along nicely but if the load is unbalanced it will be all over the shop

There were rumours of OCZ at one time at XS, but these died down after a while so im not sure it's them.

Gonna be a VERY tough market with 3 companys, the phase market is probably shrinking atm because many enthusiasts are more into building their own units or getting custom ones done, or they stick with high end watercooling which can get you awesome clocks as well.

Have to see how this one turns out.

LOL...Master_G spilt the beans..aye OCZ are apparently working on a unit. Didnt think it would be their thing but.. they do have quality stuff so it could be good.

Not sure what they could add to a unit thats gonna make them more desireable without adding much to the price?
