.....lapped their GPU?
I'm definatly going to lap my CPU, H50 and touch up my mosfets and NB with new coolers/heatsinks. May even have a go at sanding down my NB chip

But what about my GPU. Just how safe and practicle would it be to lap my incoming Phantom Gtx 570 for example.
Not looking for extra perofmance or better temps necessarily. I just want to build a super-silent rig (i can hear my H50 P/P and Gigabyte 460 as we speak, and it's doing my head in). Better idle and load temps would allow me to run the fans on my GPU at lower speeds.
Would it be worth it to try? And how would i go about it if i wanted to give it a go.
