Any temp monitoring software compatible with uGuru Abit mobo's???

I know that abit at one point said they would not release the source code or whatever to the uGuru interface which would allow software companies of monitoring software to tap in to the temp probes.

Is this still the case? Are there any programs out their besides the uGuru control panel that I can read temps with? I absolutely hate the uGuru software, it's utter garbage x 10.

I've tried MBM and Speedfan with no love. Anything verified working on abit mobo's?

I have an abit with uGuru but it's Socket A, as far as I know my temps are read correctly with just about everything.

Lol, I don't even have the uGuru software. Try PCWizard? and Everest?

I'll give both of those a shot tomorrow when I get home (if I get a chance since I'll be so busy with the new parts and such...).

I use uGuru and it's very accurrate

I'm not sayin uGuru isn't accurate, I'm just saying the software is a POS.

@PV: Thanks for the link mate, I tried and nothing for the AW9D :(

Guyz who eff around with G15 source`n`stuff are usually into this sorta thing, try that route. They usually include source.

I don't think that there is anything else yet for the 3rd gen. uGuru that your board uses - there is for 1 & 2 though.

What about the hardware monitoring Eq section don't you like?

the uguru software is just junky and poorly coded, i hate having to use it. i wish abit would include a program like smart guardian, that proggy pwns.

imo smartguardian is crap compared to uGuru.

SmartGuardian is small, simple, and to the point. uGuru is bloatware tbh. And what's with uGuru not reading temps below 0*c?? It doesn't even flip to 255 and start counting down, it just stays at 0.0. Completely unhelpful, uGuru has got to be the worst. I actually like Asus' monitoring software too, again much more direct and to the point.

Guess it's all down to what you need/want.

I have no need to measure temps below 0C on the other hand I do like fan control & imo FanEQ is far superior to smartguardian.
