lol, Shopto messed up my pre-order so I cancelled and went to GAME, got a free poster and the pre-order thing (already had one though, friends that work in GAME = win)

Gameplay is alright, ALOT of campers on the 360. Brother got it for PC and he's having alot of trouble with it, quite un-optimized apparently.

Yep i got the hardened edition for the ps3 and the normal one for the pc. I game on both systems so that's my reason for buying the two copies and also online gaming is different on both aswell

I'm awaiting the arrival of mine, though a mate says the single player is AWESOME, it's just the multiplayer on pc is buggy as hell, but has dedicated servers (praise the lord!), so we'll have to wait for a patch to sort it out. Not that you should have to wait for a patch to make a game playable when the RRP of it is £39.99(!) on the PC.

Haven't heard of any MW2 characters appearing in it, though I did read somewhere there's some Russki from World at War in it. Obviously he'll be a fair whack older seeing as it's the cold war and not WWII anymore.

I ordered it just now, or actually I got a subscription to some gaming magazine(Power Unlimited) for 47 euro's and got Black Ops with that for free, amazing stuff I must say

I'll probably get it the day after tomorrow

Keep reading the pc version is like a console port as it's really poorly optimized

Got it on ps3 single player seems alrite but multiplayer I still prefer mw2

The graphics are bloody crap.

At least this time it has up to 16x FSAA and aniso though. But compared to BFBC2 it looks terrible. Seems like it's going to be fun, though.

The gameplay is OK, the graphics are disappointing and everything looks a little too cartoony. And the maps online are not small enough of the CoD gameplay that I love. Overall I feel let down considering all the hype, and because it's on PC I can't go trade it in for something else. Tempted to get CoD 4 as I sold my old copy on eBay and I kind of want to go back to that.

Agreed.

Looks aside, it is a pretty good singleplayer campaign, though as is the norm these days, not a particularly long one.

Multiplayer isn't AS bad as I first read, though I'm yet to find a good map for being a sniper whore.
