Oky never seen this except when Pc's first hit the scene with USB support which was a good few years ago.
Any way plugged in my daughters phone to the USB port to move some music across i have then all of a sudden the pc freezes and dies "as in" nothing happing just a frozen screen.
So turn PC off and give it 30 seconds then restart with phone off and usb unplugged then nothing. no boot, no screen, no beeps ....
Give it 5 more min start again and again nothing.
Re set bios = nothing.
Remove every thing off the board except 1 stick of ram cpu , 1 HD and another bios reset again nothing.
Swap ram sticks give it a few more min and then the PC boots up.
Put every thing back on and it seems to be working except ive now lost sound.
Cannot seem to get sound back.
Now this board has just been bought off some one so it got me thinking doggy board but looking around there seems to be no doggy cap's or any thing that would suggest even the idea of what may have happened.
Any one seen this happen before.
