antec 620 fan replacement

Hi i want to know if i can replace the stock fan that came with this kit and replace it with 2 Noctua NF-P12-1300 fans in push pull. will it effect the performance and will it be a lot quieter my temps under load atm are high forties to low fifties.

antec fan does 1400rpm -200rpm at 81.3 CFM

Noctua does 1300rpm at 54.3 cfm

Looking at the fan specs you've provided, surely your current fans move more air which is what you want to get temps down?

Hi blair,

you can exchange the fan on Kühler H2O 620. It is a standard 120x120x25mm fan. Just monitor temperatures when you use a fan with lower RPM for a while to be sure the cooling is sufficient. When you do the push/pull setup, make sure the screws you use to fasten the second fan are suitable. The threads are measured in inches, not metric. To be sure you got the right screws, just use two of them on each side. Should be sufficient.

thanks i will try this although im not sure if it is the stock hd 5870 fan making the noise and not the cpu cooler as i used the 3 pin that comes off the pump and connected that to the quiet fan and then connected the antec fan to the MB to control the speed keeps temps same and a blot quieter.
