Pray you never meet the longhorn beetle. There was a report of a 9" one
We have Rhinoceros beetles here, and they hiss at you if you disturb them. The avarage size we see on a regular basis is around the length of your 'birdy' finger lol

All I know is I would like to borrow frag's deagle to get rid of any bugs lol.

LMAO - I`m picturing Ham. Something lands on the keyboard.. backward flip to grab the DEagle from behind the couch.. ensuing mass of bullet holes smashed across the wall - smoke everywhere - clip empty.

.. and the fly flies past him - swats it with a newspaper.

Dune bugs are harmless, I freakin h8 them tho >.<

is that a black widow? I'm spider knowledge is rubbish, but i want to know which little bugger will jump at me. :S

No lol, the black widow is _i think_ the only deadly spider in britain and has a red hourglass shaped marking on its back

Dude you serious? I thought all dragon flys where harmless!

Yeah, but not this one. A thorough examination of the picture makes me believe that it's the famous "Stuka dragonfly", known for its habit of dive-bombing large animals at high speed and killing them before they even know what hit them. It's rare and only found in small parts of the world, I think. Because of the number of pets and small children it kills every year, it's known as the "Wales killer".

The antennae are also used for radio communication and telepathy between members of the species.

I am soooo full of it! :)

It looks like a dragonfly and yes, dragonflies are harmless. :) They only eat other bugs. I admit the antennae are pretty odd. :)
