Another corsair 600t build

How loud are those Spectre Pro's you're using? Was thinking about using one to replace the stock front fan on my 600T. Also what's the airflow like on them... I have a hard time believing over 100 CFM.

most of the noise that comes from them is the air moving . This is with them not being properly mounted without rubber noise dampeners but, mind you the first case im coming from before having this one was a thermaltake armor vhb6000 or something like that which had a 240mm fan on the side of it that was horribly loud, so to me this thing is whisper quiet i would put the fans on par noise wise with the stock ones maybe a couple decibles louder for an increase in performance.. If you use the 7v adapter they are almost not audible .

I love the idea of the top mount fan controller, nice work on that mate. The front looks like a Cylon with those red LEDs going around it .

Thank you i just took the idea corsair already had in place and kinda ran with it. I think it would be awesome if in a future bulild they just gave you a 5.25 slot up there for you to put whatever you wanted in it. Obviously if would have to be something shallow but they could address that in a 600t v2 perhaps.

Good... GOOD... this pleases me, all goes according to pran >.>

Quick little update i am waiting on two orders they are as follows
Order 1
-3 pin power connector((to hopefully power the remote start i got from logisys so i dont have to use the 24 pin power pass through adapter)
-Another set of phobya RGB flex lights 60cm low density version
-Phobya 400mm radiator grill
-Lian li tooless pci holder(hopefully i can mount this in my case properly if not no big deal)
-2 Pin power 8 way distribution block(im hoping to use this as a way to make a junction to turn on and off the leds on the bitfenix fans fingers crossed this works)
Order 2
-Alphacool bulkhead passthrough adapters(for my super secret reservoir that will only be revealed once its done assuming it works, Im sure i will post any failiures as well)
-And the piece de resistance a phobya 400mm Radiator (I had to get it for fitting purposes.

So theres the states of things hopefully i will be recieving the first order and monday and have some picture updates or maybe even a video one we shall see.

Cheers

The fan controller does look awesome there. One question though. Since the reset and power switch are part of the i/o panel which includes the fan controller, how are you now turning on your system??

Im planning on using the Logisys remote start its essentially a Key FOB that can turn on and reset the computer, It also has a pass through so i can mount the on and reset buttons somewhere else on the case.

Ok so i have another order in i am almost done with what im going to call the Pre-Alpha model of my reservoir i basically threw everything together as kind of a proof of concept but in the second revision of it i will definitley up the fit and finish of it, I have an order in for a pump some coolant tubing and monsoon compression fittings to i will have a proper reaveal of both my super top secret reservoir and current state of the case with the 400mm radiator installed.

Are you even allowed to talk about super top secret reservoirs? Do you have proper security
clearance?

A little teaser im planning on using Liquid Mayhems Tharsis red coolant to showcase this badboy, I dont intend on using it in my system but i figured i would take out all the stops to properly show it off.

So this is what took up my time before getting all the stuff in the mail yesterday got myself a little birthday gift

And boom goes the dynamite. Here is the update i promised sorry for taking so long but i literally got the stuff in the mail today had about 20 minutes to throw everything together and then had to go help at a wedding. I hope you enjoy let me know your thoughts impressions or any suggestions for improvement thanks for taking the time to check it out.

That is one special reservoir! I wonder what it would look like with white (bone) or black coolant? Excellent idea.

Both of those options do sound genius, If i put the clear coolant in there and find its just too much red throughout i may go black . But the idea behind clear is that i can use my RGB lights to give it some variety but I like your idea.

Just thinking alternatives, absolutely nothing wrong with the red, and the leds are a requirement. I wonder if you could hack the led controller to flash in time with a heartbeat. That would be sure to scare the crap out of little kids!

Also, for some reason I keep thinking of India Jones and the Kingdom of the the Crystal Skull. Wrong shape of skull but those lit up nice (cgi of course).

Minor update as of today i have a full acrylic side panel on order from the gentleman over at MNPCTECH sadly it will take somewhere around 10 weeks so i have no excuse not to have the case completeley modded and awaiting its arrival.

The other thing im mulling over is whether or not to put a 240 or 360 radiator in the top of the case im leaning towards the 240 because i want the room where the other 120mm would be for my fill port and possibly some buttons such as the start and some on off switches for the lights . I also have 4 bitfenix spectre pro fans on order.

quick little update i just placed a sizable order today that will pretty much get me to the point of an almost completley modded computer case. Like i stated before i have a window of time for the case to be done as i am waiting on a fully acrylic side panel for the 600t so its my goal to have the case fully modded and assembled by then as far as modding goes. I am still going to hold off until i see more from haswell i like where they are going with the boards at least so i will more then likley wait for one of those bad boys to go in my case.
