The good thing about a reduction in nm size of a CPU die is that typically it requires less 'juice' to feed it, but they also manage to cram more and more transistors on the available real estate. So 'Conroe' will run more efficiently and less power hungry than it's predecessors. 'Conroe' is special for Intel because they have levelled the playing field again for the time being, they have been playing second fiddle for a while now; at least until AMD retaliate.
Nice featured/looking motherboard too XMS, I think Abit are really starting to turn themselves around nicely, which is good considering the glut they've been in.
