Annoying scandisk problem

Well for some reason out of the blue scandisk always runs

It checks the disk then reboots and checks it again and then boots into windows

Also it’s only checking my partition

I'd back up all your stuff ASAP. If scandisk starts rearing its ugly head unannounced it could well be trouble may be in store.
 
Ahh crap thank's XMS its the morning bad news so soon. Well i'll delete the partition first and see what happens
 
I deleted the partition and booted windows fine no scandisk

I remade the partition and put no files on it and its getting scandisk

Looks as if that section of your hard drive might be corrupt or physically damaged. Have you recreated a partition and then directly completed a full format, and not a quick format?
 
Deleted the partition

Made a new partition

Formated the partition

Nothing seems to work. Ah well this gives me a reason to get a raptor

Get a new Seagate as this one is still in warranty and sell the new one
