Anime Thread

Hey guys, Looking for ideas on what to watch next. Below is an image of what I've watched reasonably recently.

Particular fav's being Brotherhood, Bleach and Sword Art Online.

Hmm... I don't know many Animes yet...

I shall list all animes I have watched up to this point:

Attack on Titan
Neon Genesis Evangelion
Death Note
Hellsing
Hellsing: Ultimate
Full Metal Alchemist
Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood
Black Bullet
Gantz
Kill La Kill
Blue Exorcist
The Irregular at Magic High School
Sword Art Online
Log Horizon
No Game No Life

^ They're all very good. You know a few of them already, but I can recommend each and every one of those. Except maybe Log Horizon, it's very good at the end, but it's ultra slow in the beginning.

I would most def. recommend Hellsing + Hellsing: Ultimate (they're behaving similarly to FMA, since their stories diverge, but start similar so be on the lookout)

that would take sooo much time to catch up, time i don't have :(

dude unless your collecting your pension, you have all the ime in the world :D. you wont regret reading the manga trust me, and it doesn't take that long to read it all

i'm a carer mate, a lot of my time goes into looking after my mum, cleaning and looking after the pets.

so what does everyone think about "Attack on Titan" i've only seen 13 eps....

Just going back to this.... You need to finishing watching this for if no other reason then to see Captain Levi go to town in ep 22. So good. Best fight of the series.

i know a few people who do that, it's not an easy job to do, i don't plan to have kids, sorry to hear about your bird mate :(

I had a big german shepherd "kudos" who died almost 2 years ago, it broke my heart :'(

anyway back to anime/manga, how far is bleach now, 600 or 700?

Yeah its a tough job but it has its perks, an thanks for the kind words bud she will be missed

Bleach is almost reaching the 600 chapters, at 590 atm, as for Zaraki's bankai, there's is none atm though we got to see he's zanpakutou which is pretty awesome. No bankai so far but i'm not really sure IF we'll get to see it, only time will tell :)

It's really painful that anime episodes are only ~20 minutes long...
Wait an entire week and then this is what you get. I hate getting addicted to current / running series ;)

i think its pretty fair, depending on how addicted you are ofc :D
There goes a lot of work in it and it pays off for me on the long run but i understand your need of MOAR :D

True. Only thing I kind of dislike about anime is that the information density is extremely low. Of the ~20 minutes of runtime there are a good 5 minutes you can skip over without missing anything (except drawings)

yeah this is the only reason why I stick to more anime that's only has up to 50 odd eps.

I'd like to, but when I see a good concept and immerse myself... And then when it's still on-going but I can't see the next episodes... Days feel like years. I have no patience.

it's not just that mate, they want to make more money by over using fillers.
