There is also a gigabyte board i saw recently probably at CES that has such a great looking heatsink on the chipset, i will post a picture of that if i find out what model it is.
Update: yes it is this one here. this sort of design of heatsink is probably my favorite i just love all those little layers it has it looks so nice in my opinion.

I was going to get myself one of these for my Grayscale project

Original wanted to go with the X79-UD3, but I read that if you got one with an older bios it would barely even overclock and it might actually catch fire, so I decided to save myself the hassle and pay €50,- more.
Imo, €250,- for a board like the UP4 is a really good price!

Need to decide on a proper case though, which is really hard considering my special wishes but I'll make a seperate thread for that

Also; I wish my dad was into computers that much! Instead he thinks he does, but all he knows is how he swaps out RAM, an HDD or a video card  And that was even back in the day when HDDs used IDE and video cards didn't require power calbes

Edit; Btw, all sites tell me that this is a regular ATX board. Looking at the mounting holes it does look like one, but I'm not sure as I wonder how they got the huge 2011 socket and 4 extra memory banks on a regular ATX board

Do ya happen to know this?
