Agreed. That would be both awesome and horrible at the same time, considering the amount of $$$ I spent to get 2 980s underwater.It would be great if AMD got a card out that stomped the Titan x and sold it for £250 making NVidia need a drastic rethink of pricing
But I'd love to see AMD fire back with a worthy card at a lower price point.

... hence why I returned mine while I still had the chance, in order to wait for these new releases

How much was the 290x at launch? £550 wasn't it? well you can take that and add the AIO for another £50.
£250 you are in dreamland I'm afraid. AMD price their cards on Nvidia's pricing. When the 7970 launched they sold it for exactly £439, the same price as the 580 3gb.
I thought about it earlier today and tbh I would rather spend money on my rig elsewhere. 480gb SSDs can be had for about £120 now so I may buy two and replace all of the moving parts drives in my rig. I just bought a new sound card, new headset and 240gb RAIDR PCIE SSD for game storage.
I'm just not prepared to pay these silly prices. I will wait until they're more like £300 each and then buy.
I dunno man, maybe I'm just getting old but I refuse to support these companies in their blatant piss taking. If people refused to pay the prices they wouldn't exist. Sadly it's been shown people will pay anything to have the latest technology.
I also refuse to swap out my CPU and board unless they break. Next CPU for me will be the AMD Zen next year.

So because you are mad they charge a lot of money for creating new technology(that isn't cheap to make) and pricing them competetively, you won't buy it? Makes sense. They price based off how much profit they need to make to make the actual investment worthwhile and then take into account the competitor's price. Honestly you are not going to pay for business? Its how pretty much every business is run.. Don't see how this is blatant piss taking. It's always been this way. Besides, no one knows how much these are so.. you are ranting on nothing?
