A useful tool or a load of rubbish? Personally I don't want it to detect my hardware and optimize my games, I'd rather do it myself.

This is basically like Nvidia's Experience which sets your game-settings for you so that it runs nicely on your hardware.

Not really necessary as you can just change them yourself to your liking.

That's what I'm thinking, can they be trusted to set them as well? Do they have a "60 fps" minimum style of thought, where as I'd prefer to have this graphical option up full and drop 10fps...

But this is for console noobies who fancy dipping their toes into PC land...

Anyone *ANYONE* who plays PC games in any kind of serious way should know what settings to change where to get the best from their game and system...

I said the same thing about the nVidia software so I'll say it again for this. I know we're trying to bridge gaps with the console guys here and there but.. jeez they need to know how at least SOME of this stuff works?! I know they've never experience stuff like AA and AF properly before (because lets face it, how many console games actually have a half decent implementation of AA).

Sigh.. yeah I'm done ranting.

Don't forget though that there are so many people out there who don't have a clue when it comes to Pc's. I don't know how many times I come across someone who has been ripped off with their hardware,and don't know the first thing about installing even drivers let alone set up a game for themselves, so in one sense a program like this has it's usage.

I agree with SuB,

For you to even know about this app, I'd presume you'd need to know something about PC's. If it is for those who may have come from consoles, and know absolutely nothing then why and how have they got a gaming rig?

I just can't see that those people who get ripped off with hardware and don't know how to install drivers, firstly manage to install this and then even know it's out there...

if its anything like the nvidia experience i would advice anyone against it. wrecked my pc and had to start from scratch. i thought it was like a high tech survey

Its a great idea for those who don't want to spend time messing with settings and just want to click and start.

I personally wouldn't consider using it myself but i do have a few mates who just moved from consoles who may find this of interest.
