Now it just needs to beat the GTX 980 and have a decent price tag, and it's a winner. Anyone know if thise card is going to be refence only, like the Fury X?
I have a feeling this will be very competitively priced for its market "still loves his Vapor X"
Maybe true where you are and people in America it will not be here
Is it pure greed or just import tax which is the reason for the remtarded price in aus ?

Little of both tbh. Our Aussie Dollar aint doing all too well either at the moment, so thats also a factor.
What pisses me off most in AU is that most of the PC stores are terrible. For instance I purchased 3 Fury X graphics cards last month (will not be naming the store) and they came back and told me " we need the stock for our custom built systems " just so that they can milk an extra few hundred dollars from the people that give in or for any reason purchase their pre built system instead. Really thinking of just getting a refund and telling them to go f*** themselves.
"..we can see that this GPU will lie somewhere in between the R9 Fury X and the R9 290X in terms of raw GPU power..."
Or 390X.Is based on Hawai too.![]()
That's when you say "Okay gobs***e, Refund, Now!"
Any store that treats you like that is not worth your money.
Most store will not allow people to return PC parts once you open them it's your but the ones who allow returns the charge you like a 10-15% restocking fee.
But he hasn't even received the cards yet
The restocking fee is a load of bull, It's a total con, When I worked in PC World for a total of 6 weeks we use to charge people a "Re-stocking Fee" if they returned something unwanted and it was a total con as we were covered under insurance etc...Complete con.
Sure is, This is the rule that one of the places go bye that i buy PC parts from
"We do not normally provide a refund if you have simply changed your mind about an Order, so please choose carefully."
Surely that's illegal, If the purchase is not fit for consumption weather it's electronic or otherwise is valid grounds for a refund.
Go look up your consumer rights laws as I'm pretty sure they are breaking the law there.
There not, They don't have to do it
Repair, replacement or refund, From the ACCC website
You can ask a business for your preference of a free repair, replacement or refund, but you are not always entitled to one. For example, the consumer guarantees do not apply if you got what you asked for but simply changed your mind, found it cheaper somewhere else, decided you did not like the purchase or had no use for it.
