Yeah if history has taught us anything it's that they will try and price them very close to Nvidia's offerings, Have poor sales as they are not Nvidia so shouldn't be charging Nvidia money, Then come back with marketing speak -
"We want to reframe going forward to gain marketshare by intelligently positioning our product SKU's in market segments we think would be most attractive to potential customers"
And then it all repeats and they continue to lose marketshare because they are unable to learn from their mistakes.

One thing that keeps me hopeful, though admittedly I'm probably gonna be proven wrong, is that these chips are small and should be cheaper to manufacture. RDNA3 was not cheap to build and they were weaker than expected, so they had no choice. But now that they have a choice, maybe... MAYBE... they'll have both learned from their mistakes and be in a position to express their newfound insight.

We'll see after the B580 benchmarks. If the new Intel GPUs turn out to be solid bang for the buck, AMD won't have a choice.

They need to be under £600 if they are higher I'm simply not intrested in it, as not at this moment vital to me.
The Intel cards take the lower end in terms of p vs p but honestly intels issue is adoption.
So amd would be foreced to come down generally but they are similar minded too nvidia tbh on prices to a point.
If they honestly want market share like mean what they say, they can't be doing it's new lets charge 100-150 over value. If they want market share they must come in hard at the right price.
Thou i do not see it atm myself if anything they are very prepping for udna and if they don't go hard by that point and somehow intel is even going to make celestial or just stick in laptops to try salvage their only real key market.
So amd need to do something quickly cause if celestial does get launched or built it's going to catch up at some point then Intel take the low and mid range and chip away at amds market share not nvidias.
Cause regardless most want cheap nvidia gpus they want nvidia to be forced and slowly isn't good enough now cause unless amd and intel get everything on par with nvidia in terms of features and they will in time.
Then neither company can do anything they must come in hard like Intel is going to with the low end cause what choice do they have.
The cat and mouse game of toying around with prices on launch is damaging there launch sales putting it to almost bareable then a cut down slightly below isnt working.
Cause who wanted to by a 7700xt over a 7800xt no one it was most likely a fair few months before it was a half option to many.
In my view foolish and these tariffs will mess things up further so nah it'll be way higher than I've any intrest in and if they don't sort out udna right then if and massive if Intel is going to eat the liw and midrange market in my view.
Sure the 5k series will be strong but so will them prices oh they are going to be disgusting prices in my view idk if people will bother in truth cause it's simply greed.
