AMD Firepro Cards for Gaming?

Just saw that AMD is just releasing a couple new Firepro cards. Looking at the price of these very expensive cards, and seeing that their site is promoting them as work cards for graphic work. I was wondering how these cards stand up when it comes to gaming. Not that I could afford one, but just curious.

Is this something you guys would review here in a gaming rig? I know they are meant as work station cards.

i'd bet some cash it doesn't get an OC3D gaming review. i guess it'll be more expensive and slower than HD cards. it's ok for the graphics designer wanting to CoD session in the lunch break etc

the Firepro v9800, in terms of gaming is about the same as one 5870 but for $3000. the benefit of firepro cards is you can crossfire as many as you want.
