AMD Fiji XT Spotted - R9 Gemini?

Aye, the 295x2 also had a 120mm rad (@Jimma: and two Asetek blocks for the cores)

If they go with Nano cores it'd get a lot less hot so that'd be good. Personally I'm not a fan of GPUs coming with AIO coolers on them but it seems to be the direction that AMD are taking for the high-end stuff. I'd rather see them aircooled as well.
Thanks for that. Yeah maybe all the feedback they get is in relation to 'running hot' so an AIO is a good solution. As long as they don't leak. Or grind. Or stop... :)

Lets hope the cooler works :p

My cooler worked very well, Never missed a beat :)

The Nano cores aren't any different to the Fury X cores, They are the exact same die it's just that the Nano's power delivery system is gimped compared to the Fury X.

It's not that its really gimped(even then I don't really see how it really is), its really just down to binning the most efficient cores and improving the algorithms for power efficiency as well as being thermally limited to 75C so it means it has to slow itself down in order to maintain that which also aids in lowering power consumption/heat. Also add in the fact it has a single 8Pin PCIe connection so it's power limited as well. It's the same die but changing algorithms and giving it limited power is what causes it to be much more efficient at the expense of raw speed as many benchmarks show a Fury is about 3-5% faster than the Nano. In any case because of the pictures of only two 8pin connections, makes logical sense for it to be 2 Nano cores. Fury X alone uses 2 so I can't really see how adding in another X chip would work...
