Well it's only the 390X it's not the flagship i.e the Fury which appreantly is coming direct from AMD watercooled just like the 295X2 which is worrying from a heat/power consumption standpoint considering the Fury is a single GPU card

They really could be a major player if they stopped skimping and took overclocking seriously.

Edit. As for that Devil thing there? After looking at it again I think if all the silver was black it would look really mean and cool.

The r9-2xx gpus they did were a massive step up from the 7xxx gpus. They had a massive reshuffle and brought what seems to be decent talent. I've been tempted to get one and I have massive issues with my 7870 (as I think you did, I seem to recall 7970s in an alienware case a while ago).

I've got a bit of hope for them.
