AMD Drivers 7xxx series

dont know what to tell ya there bro as I didnt write the code of the test to know exactly what part is physics related and not. I'm sure the fire burst in the background are physics but so can the flag waving. Hell for all we know they may of made it look like that for authentication reasons. AMD 6xxx series looks like _____ AMD7xxx series looks like _____ Nvidia 6xx and yadda yadda. To keep ppl from cheating lol As at times they use scores for contests and rankings.

is your overall score with the test within reason of other 7950's???

i had some 2d rendering issues with the card. tom2d gave me the same score on the 7950 and the 6870 and both are way below what they should score. forgot to test that in the second rig though, might be cpu related.

That's really strange indeed! I read you've RMA'd it, do you already have a new one to compare?

yes. same shit. contacted the AMD support, after 1.5 weeks of no answer i went apeshit on the forums. suddenly everyone listens to me. no progress yet though.

That sucks man :/
Hope you get it sorted out!

if they don't sort it out i will get my money back and buy a gtx670. i won't wait for summer when i will get a haswell cpu just to test if it is the rest of my system acting up, i can't play games properly atm, besides things like far cry 3 or crysis 3, but i got bored pretty fast by FC3 and crysis 3 i found to be pretty horrible besides the graphics.

Grab the fx 8350 you essentially have a i3 in your rig right now.. For gaming fx 8350 > i5 3570k but = i73770k . Or you could also wait for vishera 2.0 or the steamroller.

Btw did you run gpuz andp test your pcie lanes bandwidth? Try every other lane on your mobo as well. Grab the latest bios as well

FX 8350 isn't even close to a 3570K for gaming mate. In most cases an i3 will beat the 8350 simply because it has much better single threaded performance.

not going to spend any more money on amd CPUs since i plan on grabbing a haswell i7 in summer.

actually the 8350 beats the 3570k and was even battling it out with the 3770k. in crysis 3 the 8350 only looses by a few frames per second.
