Amazon is suing sellers over buying fake reviews

In an effort to combat fake reviews on their website Amazon is now suing 3 of their sellers for taking part in this shady practice.

Some of the reviews are funny as tho. It's a shame they were easy to spot as they were all very tongue in cheek.

I get why they're banning the fake "authentic" reviews though. It's a pity they can't do the same on the TV with all that telly marketing BS.

I would like to see these sorts of articles padded out by the authors thoughts and understanding of the issue..


from the article i cant tell if the people actually buy the item then get a bonus for a glowing review.. or if the people run through the purchase but get a refund and never receive the item and leave a glowing review. i also cannot tell if its a system that scammers use to get good reviews on items they dont even have to sell and they just pocket the money.
