These DT770 Pros are having SEX WITH MY EARS!!!!!

I love re-discovering music with new Cans.. They haven't even worn in yet and they're impressing me. I love the accuracy of my AKG's but these are hella fun to listen to, lots of punch, and being 250Ohms the distortion just doesn't exist at all. They're certainly more comfortable than the AKG's that I will admit, the build quality is excellent as well, while the AKG's are light, these are kind of.. slightly heavier but feel firmer being of mostly metal construction. But you barely feel like you're wearing them at all, even with the chord stretched a bit to the back of my case temporarily.

They definitely feel like two sides of a very sexy ear shagging coin, AKG's have a bit more sparkle but the Beyers just sound like so much fun!

Very impressed I now have two Over-ear headphone lovers

Oh also, the DTX 72 iE's are also fucking fantastic for in-ears, leave my Sennheiser CX300's for dead .. just stunning, absolutely outclass them in every way. Gonna need to pickup a small mobile can-amp though at 32Ohms they need juuust a little more umph for the volumes I enjoy, but even then, straight into my One Plus, at full whack they are just so god damn nice!

interesting. as you know i got the k702s after using dt770 pros for about a year, and i prefer the AKGs lol

What do you like more about the 702's?

I'll never give them up, I just can't game without them now at all.

I'm not sure which I like more yet, I'm just going to have to spend a lot of time re-listening to music (oh wo is me)

Interesting.. I might have to see if I can source a smooth one, mine is the older notched one, compared to the band on these beyers, no where near as comfortable...
