Alphacool Quality Control

Hi All,

Has anyone ever received any components from alphacool that have been faulty?

Only reason I ask is because I ordered a few couplings and during leak testing one of the 90 degree barbs started leaking.

I've attached pictures of the manufacturing defect, anyone else had anything like this??

Is it really worth the RMA activity for a £3 coupling?

Yes, last November I received a Laing D5 with a chunk of its impeller missing.

I RMA'd it and got a new one.

They do make mistakes from time to time but they are a good company.

I would RMA it although it a small item, it will make them aware such defects exist

What you do can prevent another person ending up in the same situation as you!

We have to keep them on their feet!

I just had the problem that the top on my VPP655 (D5) pump was touching the pump in such a way that it would stop, and not start at all.
