AGP Mobo/CPU combo upgrade advice?

Looking to do an upgrade. I've got an X800 XT PE that I can't afford to replace yet, so I'm looking for advice on what would be the best performing AGP mobo/cpu combo to go with that graphics card? Money no object, I'd replace all three and obviously upgrade to pci-e but nowhere near enough cash for that :(

Currently using the vga with an 875p mobo/2.8 Northwood o/c'ed @ 3.5 Gig with OCZ Gold EL PC4000 RAM.

TIA

ASRock 939Dual-SATA2 & a X2 3800.

The board due to its AGP & PCI-E capabilitys, and the 3800 as is a great OCer, dual core and even stock its a hell of a CPU.

I would have to agree with Hams advice on this one for sure... That board is nice because it will give you an upgrade path to PCI-E later on down the road without having to buy yet another mobo.

And the X2 3800+ you can't go wrong with. Great dual core chip at an excellent price.

asus p5p800-se and a 2.8ghz dual core.

but like 2 above said the amd setup is a nice deal little higher but better for long run.

Thanks. Gonna go with the asrock 939dual-VSTA which seems to be the latest version of the dual-sata and the x2 3800.

Looks like a sweet upgrade for £140.
