Right guys.

My 9600GT stock cooler seems to suck and I'm thinking of putting on an aftermarket cooler on to it so I can torture it :p. Recommend me?

Pricing would be £30 maximum but the cheaper the better!

Needs to be able to cool the memory as I will be overlocking that too.

Oh and don't forget fans! I can live with the sound.

I want a cooler that covers the whole card/pcb.

For those of us with no imaginations (lol) here are a couple of pictures:

What I want it to look like:

What I don't want it to look like:

PS: This is not a "Wanted" thread I just want to know about aftermarket coolers. :p

Zlaman VF 900 or anything that fits by AC.

Bring back the silencer sieries!

Oh yeah, forgot to mention Ham, I don't like cards that are bare (shows off the PCB).

Not my taste.

Get a water block then :D.

As I said, bring back the silencer range. Best GPU sinks ever! (Quite unhelpful commnt I know...)

If you can find one:

Accelero S1

No real point getting some sub standard fan based cooler when this will likely run cooler passive if you've got decent airflow in the case. It handled my 8800 GT fanless for about 6 months, stuck the turbo module on it and the temps dropped down by about 3 degrees to 34 at idle and 40ish at load.

i would go with the akasa vortex which i listed earlier then. good reviews, it cheap and it covers the whole board.

+ 1. I've just had a skim over some reviews and it looks like a very capable cooler for gpu's up to the newer 4850's before it's found wanting. Very good price as well.
